regarding the immense depiction of feminine desirability, he ponders... Are my desires my own, or am I told what I want? Do I know even what I desire anymore? Yes! Of course I do! I am man! I desire that which pleases me, which attracts me; that which mystifies and excites me! But who decides what I react in this way to? Surely it must be my own consciousness, for only I can dream my dream; only I can desire my own fantasy... Right?
